THE BRIEF: Undergoing a thorough back-to-brick renovation, every room in the house has been carefully reimagined to create a spacious and welcoming modern family home. The thoughtful considered redesign incorporates every room in the house including a substantial glazed extension. Other highlights include two super cute children’s bedrooms, and a dedicated playroom has evolved into the ultimate destination for N10’s playdates!
THE HOME OWNERS & THE PROPERTY: Located on the Dollis Hill Estate in North West London, this Edwardian Period House is part of a delightful cluster of the same housing stock celebrated for its neat proportions, period details, and charming balconies.
THE BRIEF: The residence underwent a ground floor extension that extended into the garden, creating additional space for a larder, utility, and guest WC. Our involvement included spacial planning and detailed interior design throughout the build. The outcome has been truly transformative for the family’s day-to-day living, establishing a more dynamic flow from the previously cluster of small, dark rooms.

Born & Bred studio orchestrated a top-to-bottom interior decoration across five floors, creating a warm welcome for new residents from the US, then imminently expecting their second child. Curating considered items from the clients existing cherished items to our careful curation of both practical and aesthetic pieces. Blending timeless elegance with modern comforts, every detail was thoughtfully curated to make their transition into the UK truly exceptional.

THE BRIEF: As with many of our clients this was a big move from a smaller property to a large forever family home. After buying into the previous owners style and falling in love with the house on viewings. When confronted with an empty shell they were very overwhelmed with the interior choices and agreeing on a style. They engaged our services to design the main reception room, entrance hall, tv room and office.

THE BRIEF: The homeowners were expecting their second child at the point of engaging Born & Bred Studio. They wanted to streamline their belongings in preparation for the new baby. For them this looked like a reconfiguration of their space. They embarked on a side return extension project and redecoration throughout the period property.
The design was heavily reliant on smart bespoke storage solutions in all new areas of the house. Through spacial planning, storage solutions and rethinking the interiors the house ‘works’ for the new family of four. It has also ruled out the option of moving and the costs and upheaval that entails. Its quite a transformation. It looks and feels like a completely different house, and one that works perfectly for the new family of four.
