Featured Projects

Wimbledon

A former Embassy, this extremely tired building was purchased by a property developer. The brief was to transform it into a residential property to sell completely ready to move straight in.

Total reconfiguration was undertaken including major structural works to form a basement and extensions. The brief was to provide the ‘wow factor’ which initially didn’t excite us, however, we were given ‘carte blanche’ to interior design throughout including the swimming pool. By the end of the project, the ‘wow factor’ turned into a very exciting brief!

Connaught Square

A listed, Georgian town house in central London required a complete overhaul, to become the main home for a couple who had just purchased the property. The brief; to provide a smart yet comfortable home.

The property being listed as Grade II proved to be the biggest challenge. Every proposed change had to be meticulously planned so not to damage or remove any of the original features. Ultimately, the restrictions imposed by the Grade II listing led us, even helped us, to make certain design decisions. Overall, a technically challenging but thoroughly pleasurable project to have undertaken.

Eton Place

This project, owned by a developer of design-led properties, provided the brief to transform a very run down property into a chic apartment to be used as a showhome advertising the developers standard of quality and style. Working within a stringent budget and to a tight schedule provided a challenge but we were given a free reign with the design.

This project was completed on time and within budget and won Charlotte Crosland two awards, one for Designer of the Year and the other for Best Showhome.

Notting Hill Family House

Purchased as a somewhat ‘down at heel’ house that had been divided into ten bedsits, the brief was to produce a family home with a feeling of open spaces with a connection between kitchen, dining room and sitting room. We worked carefully on the layout to achieve this. The second aim was to ensure the home felt cosy, comfortable and exciting by mixing colour and pattern along with contemporary and traditional styles throughout. By doing this, we provided a timeless style set to last.

Kent Country House

A Parsonage in a previous life, this Kent country house had been extended over time. The original, main part, of the house is Grade II listed, provided quite a challenge. Our clients, living in London, purchased the property several years ago as their second home but recently made the decision to make it their principal residence. Our brief was to completely reconfigure the property with new layouts and complete schemes to provide a luxury family home.
