Plain English

Plain English is a traditional joinery company that makes beautiful bespoke kitchens and cupboards in the UK. Simple and honest in design, all our kitchens are crafted and painted by hand in our Suffolk workshop, by experienced artisans, who are trained in the time-honoured techniques of 18th and 19th century cabinetmaking.

We use locally and ethically sourced, quality materials which will ensure your kitchen lasts for generations to come: our baskets are hand-woven for us in Suffolk, from willow grown along the banks of the River Box and the local forge makes our iron shelf brackets and hanging pot rails.
