10 Easy Pieces: Garage Storage Bins

If there’s one thing I learned from watching Tidying Up with Marie Kondo it was that, for most of us (Americans), our garages are our dumping grounds. Almost every garage I’ve walked into has the same affliction: cardboard boxes from who-knows-when outlining a space for the car to park, with just a surrounding inch or two to spare. So to help solve that problem, here is our list of favorite garage storage containers to start your KonMari process.

(N.B.: Many of these options are, in fact, plastic—something we prefer to avoid—but these make the cut for being decent-looking, waterproof, and often made of recycled plastic.)

On the higher end of the pricing spectrum, Japanese camping brand Snow Peak makes the Large Stacking Shelf Container 50 from stainless steel and bamboo. It collapses to become flat when not in use. \$\155.95 for the large container and \$\1\24.95 for the small size at Snow Peak.
