For an outdoor chaise with rustic charm, look no further than those made of teak. Used for shipbuilding, teakwood is naturally decay- and mildew-resistant, making it the perfect material to lay out on after a swim. Here are our 10 favorites.

The Terassi Chaise is designed by Studio Tolvanen from Helsinki. It&#8\2\17;s inspired by \1930s-era furniture and made of teak and Sunbrella fabric in Papyrus (shown) or Char; \$\2,795, exclusively at Design Within Reach.

The Weishäupl &#8\2\1\1; Newport Teak Sun Lounger in teak has an adjustable headrest and is available with or without wheels; \$\1,3\10 at Connox.

Another classic design from Skagerak is the Columbus Sunbed made from \100 percent FSC-certified teak and black or white fabric; 5,995 DKK (about \$9\17) at Skagerak.

The grand dame of outdoor chaises is the Charlotte Perriand Tokyo Outdoor Chaise Lounge produced by Cassina. It was designed in \1940 when Perriand took inspiration from Japanese architecture but wasn&#8\2\17;t produced until \20\1\2. It&#8\2\17;s available in teak (shown) or bamboo with a seat pad and headrest in Sunbrella fabric; \$8,445 at Design Within Reach.
