Design Sleuth: Air Plant Garden Trellis

May 17, 2010

On a recent visit to the SF Decorator Showcase, I admired a small balcony off a bedroom by Marion Philpotts-Miller and Jonathan Staub of Philpotts and Associates. The designers hung two sculptural steel trellises outfitted with air plants and succulents (a great way to add a touch of greenery to an indoor or outdoor space).

To recreate the look, hang two identical metal grids on a wall together and add air plants.

Above: A large range of Individual Air Plants is available starting at $2 per plant at Air Plant City.
