Design Sleuth: Galvanized Steel Kitchen Garden

October 26, 2012

Swedish interior designer Susan Larsson plants her balcony garden each summer in Malmo. In the past Larsson has planted mostly fig and olive trees, but this time focused on kitchen herbs. We especially like the galvanized steel pots used in this simple setup:

Above: For a “high” option, the Corrugated Planter Set is made from galvanized steel and features one small (17 inches high) and one large (19 inches high); $198 for the set from Anthropologie.

Above: The Set of Two Steel Pails measuring about 8 by 6 inches is $9.79 from Amazon.

Above: The Galvanized Pail holds about 9 ounces; $9.08 from Amazon.
