DIY: Galvanized Containers as Table Bases

Spotted at last week’s Dwell on Design: simple tables made from large galvanized containers (filled with sand for stability) topped with circular disks of countertop material. A potential DIY project for an enterprising type.

For a similar look, consider the Galvanized Metal Cone Table (shown below); 16 inches in diameter and 20 inches high; $215 at Mothology.
