DIY: Step Ladder as Bedside Table

July 13, 2011

We like this idea for an impromptu tiered bedside table. It would be easy to steal the look with a vintage painter’s stepladder (easily sourced from eBay or Etsy; see below).

A foldable tabletop stepladder designed by Klaus Aalto has three shelves. And many different uses: bedside table, kitchen herb garden, and entryway console. Photograph via Kekkila.

Above: Currently on offer from Crown Willow on Etsy: a vintage step ladder (complete with white paint spatters); $24.
