We’ve had a thing for LA-based designer Eric Trine for awhile now, and it’s not just because his outdoor furniture is stylishly spare. It’s because he manages to read our mind. His woven Rod and Weave Chair was the lounger we’d been looking for all our lives. His Metal Side Table was the perfect coffee-table alternative for Izabella. And now, just as we’re lamenting a lack of affordable, live-anywhere plant stands, his Double Octahedron Pedestals show up on our radar, available in two colors and attractively priced.
Thank you, Mr. Trine. (And we can only assume you currently are hard at work designing a two-tier metal plant shelf for us—24 inches would be an ideal height).

Above: Trine also makes the pedestals to order in six other colors; available directly from him, a Double Octahedron Pedestal is $95 and comes in such colors as black…
