A set of four hand tools for gardeners from Bejing/Hangzhou-based Fnji Furniture embodies industrial designer Gu Qi Gao’s lofty goal: to “discover meaningful things invented by Chinese people and to use them to serve modern Chinese people.”

A set of four Gardening Tools includes a fork, a weeder, a digger, and a trowel; ¥ \290 (approximately \$4\2.93 US) from Fnji Furniture.

Made of a zinc-aluminum alloy, each tool comes with a leather loop and can hang from a hook.
