Outdoors: VKG Terrace Collection at Design WIthin Reach

March 22, 2010

Back in production thanks to a collaboration between Design Within Reach and Brown Jordan: the iconic Southern California–style VKG Terrace Collection, originally produced in 1939 by Hendrik Van Keppel and Taylor Green of VKG, a design firm based in Beverly Hills (VKG designs were used in the majority of the Eames Case Study houses). A fully licensed reissue, the Terrace Collection pieces are made of lengths of polyester rope wrapped on powder-coated aluminum frames and are available exclusively through Design Within Reach.
