Shopper’s Diary: New Outpost for Potted in Santa Monica

In a secret garden in Santa Monica is a new outpost of Potted, one of our favorite outdoor shops. “We believe outdoor living is as important as indoor living,” says owner Annette Gutierrez, who is partnering with Australia-based design brand Lazybones. “We are committed to seeking out and designing products that embrace this attitude and bring it home to your garden.”

Here’s what’s for sale in the garden at 2929 Main Street:

Above: Since 2004 when Gutierrez opened Potted, the shop has featured an eclectic mix of modern designs: pots and planters, furniture, outdoor accessories, and plants. An Acapulco Chair with a woven frame (at Left) is available in 22 colors; $435.
