We love the trend-less quality of an old European garden—like the romantic, rambling grounds of the de Taillac family property in Gascony, in southwest France. Victoire de Taillac, co-founder of L’Officine Universelle Buly with husband Ramdane Touhami, was inspired by the garden’s potager, or kitchen garden, for a line of Buly fragrances that draws from botanicals and vegetables alike. The garden is not overly landscaped and is where the charm of decades-old furnishings meets the grandeur of a centuries-old building (the oldest part of the property is the 15th-century tower). Here we profile some of those key charming features.
