In a recent post on Hardscaping 101: Woven Fences, we covered two types of fences that look good in any garden: woven hurdles (moveable panels, fixed in the ground with posts) and continuous woven fencing, designed on site to fit any dimensions.
Now comes the instant rollout fence, a good way to get the same look on a budget. Made of natural materials such as bamboo, willow, reed, or wood, instant rollout fences are easy to install (just unfurl and attach to posts).

UK-based architect and designer Ben Pentreath encourages ivy to cover a woven fence at his home in Dorset. For more of Pentreath’s garden, see our book, Gardenista: The Definitive Guide to Stylish Outdoor Spaces.
