This week the Remodelista editors gave their interior spaces a makeover for 2017. Here are some of the ideas that inspired them:
Above: In the first installment of Remodelista’s new Domestic Science column, Josh Quittner explains How to Sweep a Floor (Perfectionist’s Edition). “Sweeping, like washing the dishes by hand after a big dinner party, strikes a satisfying blow against entropy,” he says.
Above: “It only takes a few dry cleanings to notice the chemical film on your favorite garments and the degradation of the fibers,” says Alexa. She’s finding a cleaner way to wash and preserve clothing with these 12 Natural Garment Washes and Detergents (all in good-looking packages).
Above: Julie discovers Heritage Linens from Once Milano in the UK, a tabletop and bed linens company founded by longtime friends who live in London but are originally from small towns near Venice, Italy.
