Making tea lights and votives is so much easier with Pre-Assembled Wicks! These are cotton core wicks covered with wax attached to a wick tab at the bottom. When making tea lights or votives, pour the melted wax into the mold or cup and wait for the wax to cool to the point just before the wax skims over. Then insert the wick and be sure it is centered. If you insert the wick too soon, the hot wax might melt the wax coating on the wick resulting in a “slumping” wick.
