Description from Brushy Mountain Bee Farm
When working with beeswax and soap you have to know what the temperature is at all times. It is not a good idea to guess at wax temperatures because it is very flammable. Take the guess work out with this easy-to-read face of our Thermometer. Beeswax melts at 160° and if you are using this for honey, it should not be heated over 130°. The Thermometer has clips to fasten to the side of your container and the long 12″ probe will give you good, accurate readings. The ranges of temperatures are from 50° to 550°.
