A low carpet-forming species of Yarrow that creates a woolly green mass only an inch or two high. Many spectacular soft 6″ yellow flowers are produced in early to mid summer. Achillea King Edward is a very satisfactory smaller plant that can also be a useful selection to grow between stepping stones and in rock gardens.
