Description from Amazon
Pins are commonly used as pivots, hinges, shafts, jigs, and fixtures to locate or hold parts. They are precision ground (unless noted) for more accurate alignment, and slightly oversized for a tight fit. To aid insertion, ends are beveled or rounded (unless noted). For a tight fit, your hole should be equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter shown. Breaking strength and Rockwell hardness are not rated (unlessnoted). Materials that have a breaking strength are measured as double shear, which is the force required to break a pin into three pieces.
