Verner Panton designed the simple Bachelor chair in 1955, and over time it has become almost iconic. With its minimalist design, the chair is made to be moved around easily without compromising on sitting comfort. The ingenious Panton Bachelor series can also withstand a trip into the garden and then back into the sitting room.
The Bachelor chair consists of two bow-shaped tubes connected by three crossways tubes and a stretching seat. You can take the whole thing apart without any tools and pack it totally flat.
The Panton Bachelor chair and its accompanying footstool and cushions are available in seven different colours.
