One of the best natural grinding stones from the Belgian Ardennes. It consists of two separate clay slates glued together to form a somewhat irregular double-layer block. The blue/black side is used for the preparatory coarse filing work, while the light-coloured side with its sandy surface looks after the finer finish. Wet before use. Weight approx. 180-220 g.
