Description from Hruskaa.
A modern reinvention inspired by a Finnish tradition – this geometric hanging ornament is called a Himmeli, from the Swedish word ‘himmel’ meaning sky or heaven. They were created to celebrate the beginning of Winter Solstice and serve a means of good fortune for the future.
It is perfectly sized to hold a Tillandsia, [aka. air plant] for display and will slowly turn with the slightest of breeze Ҽ movement which is also seen as good luck. The visual perspective constantly changes for you at a each little twist playing off its angular lines.
This would work wonderful as an ornament for your HOLIDAY tree! I have rested a small scaled glass ornament at the bottom to add an extra festive touch [not included]. A cedar bough would look perfect too!
