Put together by a small family business in Vermont, the idea for the mat came from folks who spend a lot of time outdoors, and really get their feet dirty. Instead of a flimsy, bristly mat that gets rough around the edges and won’t endure repetitive boot-scraping, this mat has been fitted together with ash wood of sustainably harvested white pine trees, a sturdy, resinous material that can take care of all you might bring home from the trail or barn. Against the corners and edges of the mat, you can scrape thick dirt, stones and other media right off without concern about rips or tears. The palmyra bristle brush helps out with extra scraping for truly mucky boots.
