There is a wide range of safe-to-handle, spineless Christmas cactus.
Each with a packed cluster of flattened, green stems that arch out over the pot’s rim, bearing bright, brash flowers right at the tips.
The Christmas cactus tends to start off like a small bush but gradually becomes much more prostrate.
Vibrant orange flowers have white highlights in the throat and the buds emerge a purplish- orange.
‘Sunset Dancer’ is a vigorous and upright grower that usually blooms late November or December, when the natural day length is very short.
It’s very well branched and that encourages a prolific blooming habit.
Grow in bright, but indirect, light and water when the soil is dry.
Christmas cacti are easy to grow and bloom.
