Feeder House with Roof
The bird feeder house was designed by Anton Preis for Design im Dorf. The wooden floor is home to the round feeding station and features round perches on the side. The red roof extends to the floor plate and provides a strong dash of colour in the garden during the bleak winter days.
The roof is made of weather-resistant acrylic and wooden dowels or hard rubber rings attached to the wooden base. The bird feeder is suspended by a triangular stainless steel bracket that can be attached directly to the branches of trees or shrubs, or anywhere in the garden using a longer strap.
The best palce for the feeder is in plain sight from a window. This allows you to watch birds on cold winter days, making the uncomfortable season a little more bearable both for animals and humans.
