The only rakes we remember that were really decent tools were the old all-bamboo rakes (now very scarce) – because they were stiff enough to handle a heavy pile and the tines were blunt enough not to get stuck with wet leaves. All the others were sadly second-class. Now from Holland, comes a unique new 15″ wide design that’s brilliant. Fitted with a 64″ wood handle, this Rake is fantastic to work with – stiff blunt tips but with some spring, 26 tines offset tines in two rows of a different length work to prevent clogging. If we’ve only had this when we were kids. Highly recommended.
