Our roosting box provides a draft-free shelter where birds can gather together to escape wet and cold conditions. Roosting boxes are different from nesting boxes because the entrance is at the bottom—warm air stays up inside the box.
Our Roosting Box has a unique ladder system inside that allows six or more birds to perch. Birds reduce their loss of body heat by gathering together. In spring, you can convert the box into a nesting box by taking out the ladder and turning the front panel so that the entry hole is at the top. Eastern white pine, slate predator guard.
