Two Connecticut dairy farmers who were looking for an environmentally friendly way to dispose of excess cow manure developed this amazing green product that they’ve named CowPots. By using a process whereby they capture the inherent methane gas to burn for fuel at their farm, they then dry the remaining manure and compost it with natural fibers before pressing the final material into pots.

The beauty of this product is that it’s odourless, free from weed seeds and when transplanted in the ground, they dissolve within weeks while delivering valuable organic nutrients to your soil. When being used in the greenhouse or indoors they will last for months while increasing plant heath and eliminating the normal waste associated with plastic pots.
