Description from Goodwares
With a flint, steel and tinder you can make fire almost anywhere. Evidence of percussion firemaking using these simple tools dates right back to the Chalcolithic period. Before 1805, when the sulphur-head match was invented, this is how most Europeans cooked, kept warm and developed the technologies and materials that shaped the world as we know it.
The Elddon Tinder Box aims to re-teach these now all but lost skills; containing a flint, steel, selection of tinder and instructions, the kit gives a good beginner’s guide to traditional fire lighting.
