Description from The Sill
Both absolutely adorable and effortlessly chic, the Eley’s white stoneware sits in perfect contrast to abstract dark green foliage. A teeny tiny head-turner. Haworthia, an easy-care succulent native to South Africa, nestles perfectly into the hand built triangular vessel. The Eley may be small, but its presence is big.
With this miniature version of his larger geometric gem, the Jean Gerard, artist Eric Bonnin pays homage to the patriarch of modern sculpture, Constantin Brancusi. No matter one’s style – minimal to bohemian – the Eley fits. Clean but organic lines of the planter offset the Haworthia’s tightly packed, violently spiked leaves, which are flecked with white.
