Satsuki shears are designed to make delicate cuts such as cutting buds and thin branches. The handle is designed with a wider gap compared to other shears to allow the shear to open and close faster to allow efficient cutting action with finger tips.
Genzo series are produced by Genzo Hamono Manufacturing Co. located in Niigata prefecture. They come with a strong blade and hold up its edge a long time but requires the edge to be wiped clean and dry after use to prevent rust. The shears comes with a leather blade cover.
