Henning Koppel started designing clocks in 1978 and concentrated on weather stations and other practical items afterwards. The weather stations of the Scandinavian tradition house Georg Jensen was designed in 1980.
The designer Henning Koppel was the embodiment of Danish design of the post war period. He was a leading personality in a movement that combined functionality and high class design. The Henning Koppel barometer from Georg Jensen perfectly combines interior preciseness with elegant appearance. The barometer measures the air pressure (970 to 1060 hPa, or mbar) with impressing preciseness.
