Description from Everyday Needs
The self watering planter pot has been a classic of the indoor plant world since its launch in 1987. One of our favourite stores, Mr Kitly, has collaborated with the company who makes the planters to create and launch this new range.Designed by Décor’s award-winning Richard Carlson—who has work on permanent display at MoMA—these pots are made in Melbourne from BPA-free plastic and come in four colour ways. The self-watering works in an entirely simple way: just water the plant from above for a few days, and from then on periodically top up the water in the bottom tray section of the planter to keep plants hydrated and happy. Plant not included. Cactus in planter pictured available to purchase in store.
Available in two sizes and four colours.
Melbourne’s Mr Kitly is a store – and architecture studio and gallery – best known as a light-filled haven for all things related to Japan, good design and oddly enough, plants. Now, Mr Kitly has teamed up with Décor for a lightweight, self watering planter that is as functional as it is attractive.
