Description from Restoration Hardware
In Sweden, collecting and preserving plants was a pastime that families enjoyed together, passing their work down through generations. Seeking to revive that custom – along with an appreciation for the plants found in those vintage archives – Christopher Wilcox and his team of naturalists hand-press botanicals grown in his Hollywood Hills garden. Mounted on linen and expertly framed, each specimen displays its unique, and often haunting, beauty and takes on the visual impact of art.
