Handmade Anduze Pot

I designed the Wakefield Handmade line for the wholesale market and it is sold and distributed to retail stores by Napa Home & Garden.

My designs are a blend of styles I’ve been doing for years in my own studio, with tidbits of inspiration from 19th century pots from England and America.

I’m working with an extremely talented group of potters in Honduras to make the large volume of production needed to supply stores all over the U.S.  These are the same guys I introduced my friend Guy Wolff to in 1998, and who made a large part of the Guy Wolff wholesale line for Smith & Hawken from 1998 to 2006.

These pots are sturdy terra cotta, hand thrown on the potter’s wheel, one at a time.  After firing, each is finished in a proprietary slate grey wash.  These are well suited for indoor or outdoor use, but should be taken inside before the weather dips below freezing.

All items in the Wakefield Handmade line have drainage holes.
