These kites are made by hand. You won’t find plastic, metal, or that old parachute pants material most kites are made of. An ‘uplift artisan’ kite can commemorate every sort of occasion in a truly unique way: weddings, engagements, birthdays, the birth of a baby!
It’s a gift that can be brought out year after year to relive memories. They also make wonderful photography props, can be hung on the wall to enliven a room or studio, and are beautiful used as party decorations.
They are made with love and soulful intention. And a bit of old fashioned goodness in the form of organic cotton, bamboo or wood, hemp and cotton string.
Tails are made from vintage-inspired fabrics (Some really are. I like thrifting). Choose a color family for the tail when ordering. Patterns and hues are at the artist’s discretion. If you really want red with white polka dots and if we have red with white polka dots, we will do what we can to make that happen for you. Please make the request at the time of purchase.
A special occasion or person can be honored by having the unique, ocean-tumbled driftwood handles personalized with wood-burning (16 characters or less) for $15. Please specify when you order.
