Iris ‘Florentina’ (Intermediate Bearded Flag Iris)
This little iris is of great historical importance, being the source of Orris root, one of the principal ingredients in perfumary. Flowers in late spring, the individual blooms are a sort of greyed white with yellow beards. Growing to just 45cm this one deserves a place in the border.
