The water trickles through each canal for even distribution. Marked with clear, legible numbers, the rain gauge offers a total measurement capacity of 6 inches of rain. The gauge’s collection tray slides off its mounting brace easily to allow the user to dump old water before replacing the tray to begin rainfall tracking anew. The rain gauge measures 10-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches deep by 2-3/5 inches high.
