The Majesty Palm is a robust, low maintenance, classic palm that adds stately beauty to any room in your home. Even though this plant is unmistakably tropical, its elegant fronds will complement any decor. It grows slowly, and will maintain its size so you don’t need to worry about it outgrowing its spot.
This tropical palm is native to Madagascar and therefore prefers warmer, more humid conditions. To maintain deep green leaves and healthy growth, this palm needs to be watered regularly to keep the soil damp—not soggy—and fertilized when it is actively growing during the spring and summer months.
It will appreciate regular misting, and will flourish in a bright bathroom if space allows. The Majesty Palm can adapt to low light levels, but will be happiest in a sunny spot where it can receive 4-6 hours of indirect light a day.
