Pennisetum glaucum This unique millet grows 3-5 feet tall and is crowned with 8-12 inch purple flower spikes. The immature spikes of this purple-leaved plant add drama to floral arrangements. If left to mature, the millet seed spike will attract birds. Very easy to grow and tolerant of heat and low moisture levels. An AAS Gold Medal winner. Germination code: (1) or (4)
