Description from Garrett Wade
Jute is one of the strongest natural fibers and second only to cotton in volume produced and variety of uses. Woven jute, perhaps better known by its common name burlap, is still widely used on farms, orchards and in the produce and feed industries because of its strength, elasticity and total breathability.
Our jute sacks are a superior green alternative to expensive plastic waste bags, and can’t be beat for storing cuttings, garden produce and fruit. Great for protecting tender plants from frost – we wrap our fig tree with jute during the bitter New York winters. Sacks are constructed with a super strong overlock stitched hem. Washable, reusable, 100% bio-degradable and harvested from sustainable resources in India. Dimensions 20″ x 30″.
