Three Year-Old TreeFour Winds Growers’ Organic Dwarf Citrus trees are third-party certified Organic by Yolo Certified Organic Agriculture (YCOA). These trees have been grown under strict guidelines approved for organic production using all natural Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) approved materials.
We have established a naming system based on the approximate age of trees in each category. Citrus trees may grow at varying rates depending on variety, type and season. Typically, the “three year-old” trees are ready to set fruit in the following season, while the “two year-old” and “one year-old” trees need a few more seasons of growth before they are productive.
