Description from White Flower Farm
Ariel Paperwhite, 24 Bulbs
Paperwhite Narcissus ‘Ariel’ is an earlier bloomer than the familiar ‘Ziva’ and bears 14-18 large, fragrant flowers on each stem. Its snowy white clusters make a dramatic centerpiece or holiday bouquet. Paperwhites belong to a group of Daffodils that are not hardy for us, but are easily grown in a pot or vase indoors. Their large clusters of pure white flowers arch above graceful, blue-green foliage, and their perfume fills a room with fragrance. Paperwhites require no preparation and are absolutely foolproof. 24 bulbs.
We suggest that plantings be started at 2- to 4-week intervals to keep the show running all winter (bulbs will flower 4 to 6 weeks from planting). Bulbs may be held for weeks in a warm, dark closet, which allows plenty of flexibility in orchestrating displays for holidays or other special occasions.
Shipment of Paperwhites begins in late September and continues as weather and stock permits. Please order early.
