Berger is known as the best maker of professional style gardening and landscaping tools in Germany. Grips are well designed. Blades are hot forged and (in the case of anvil pruners) coated. Blade lock is solid and easy to do & undo. Effective capacity 3/4″. Unique closing movement provides real cutting leverage and pulls branch into the cut. Comes with a free plastic belt – mount case which works well and also functions as a secure storage container. A bit expensive, of course, but highly recommended and worth the money.
