Bright rose-red spikelets look as if they are glowing when backlit by a warm setting sun. Light green foliage turns a rich bronze color in fall with a slight bluish tint. Makes quite a show when planted en masse in an open meadow or a naturalized garden setting. Forms dense 12-18″ clumps and will slowly spread by rhizomes. Ships in 3″ pots. Eragrostis spectabilis.
