Description from Garden Tool Company
Invented about 500 BC, the scythe continues to be used to cut long grasses and harvest grain crops. While there are machines for doing this chore, there’s nothing like getting a good rhythm and the only sound you hear is the sharp blade slicing through the grass.
This scythe comes with a lightweight galvanized steel (‘S” shaped) handle with two hardwood handles. (bottom handle is adjustable) The blade is hammered steel is is best suited for hay or long thin grasses.
