This fast growing cheerful little sedum is a perky upright ground cover, so truly unfussy that it is the epitome of carefree!Pert 5-6” spires are covered in small pointy needle-like foliage resembling those of a blue spruce which quickly spread to create a dense and pleasing evergreenor ever-blue mat, up to 20” wide. In summer, purpley-pink stems shoot up 6-8” above the foliage to present whimsical little yellow flowers, attracting butterflies, bees and other pollinators! One of the most classic sedums and a longtime landscaper favorite because it is fast growing, texturally handsome absolutely anywhere, and thrives equally in mass plantings, containers or as garden edging. Plus it is an unusually hardy plant! Grow it in well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Deer resistant and drought tolerant once established.
