Description from ShrubSource
Symphoricarpos Coral Berry is native to North America and is an easy to grow shrub that adapts and grows well in any soil. Deer resistant, Symphoricarpos forms a neat habit of green foliage with good branching. In late summer to fall non-edible magenta-pink berries are produced to display autumn interest and attract birds.
Symphoricarpos requires full sun to part shade and forms an upright habit of 3-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide. Blooms develop on new wood so prune your shrub in late fall or early spring. Symphoricarpos is suitable for containers or specimens, is impressive when used in hedges and mass plantings, and cut stems will add great design interest to floral displays.
