Green Irish Yew (Taxus baccata fastigiata)is a splendid example of an architectural plant often seen in churchyards. This magnificent dark green fastigiate variety of yew makes for either a beautiful specimen tree or can be cultivated gradually into a superb tight knit hedge.
- Ideal for – all hedging from 80cm (2.5ft) upwards in height.
- Growth rate – typically 15-30cm(6-12in) per year.
- Site and soil – any normal soil provided well drained and is shade tolerant .
